Whip it!

I seem to be on a bit of a roll.  I have more washing done and folded than I have places to put it!  So now I need to only do what NEEDS to be done (daily clothes etc), so I can concentrate on clearing the correct storage spaces so I can put the clean stuff away.  That is the bigger job for Thursday & Friday.

I also need to get rid of the clothes that are too small for The Boy.  I was going to try and sell them, but let's face it... they should probably be donated as they've been sitting around for almost 4 years now.

Feelin' Good

I got through a HUGE lot of backlog laundry yesterday, and I'm on the way to getting another huge lot done today.  I actually forsee an immediate future of having a fully serviceable and functioning (and clean) laundry!

I think if I can get 4 loads done per day (including keeping up with 'new' laundry), I should be able to get into the tubs and clean those out on the weekend.

HAPPY!!!!!

Getting Shit Done

I'm not a perfect homemaker.  I let things slide, lapse or just plain don't do them.  Unfortuantely it's gotten to the point where now there is a lot to catch up on.  Like most other people, I'd rather be doing ANYTHING other than housework.  But it's now time to pull up my socks and get shit done.

I have a long list of things that need doing.  Some are the small every day jobs like laundry and dishes, others are bigger things like sorting through the mountains of craft supplies or baby toys that need "redistributing" because we simply do not have the space.

I want to be able to have parties with both kids and adults.  I want my son to be able to have friends over and I'd like to be able to have my extended family here for dinners or weekend lunches without having to go into a panic during the week before.

I didn't want to clutter my main blog with my housekeeping (lack of) skills, so thought that having somewhere where I can see JUST how much I am actually getting done will help me keep going until the house I live in, is truly a home.
